Coronation Power & Gas Ltd

Coronation Power & Gas Ltd is developing a cogeneration power plant to provide consistent power to industries in Otta, Nigeria. The initial 20 MW capacity project will expand to 20 MW, utilizing natural gas and reducing greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Protocol. The company is also building a facility to compress and transport natural gas to areas without distribution pipelines, converting it to compressed natural gas (CNG) for power generation and vehicle fuel. This project aims to reduce gas flaring, generate additional revenue for the government, and contribute to Nigeria’s goal of minimizing gas flaring while decreasing GHG emissions.
