Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is the oil corporation through which the federal government of Nigeria regulates and participates in the country’s petroleum industry. NNPC is responsible for exploration, production, refining of petroleum, distribution, and foreign marketing of crude oil and petroleum products. Their activities include:
– Marketing refined petroleum and petrochemical products in Nigeria and export markets
– Marine services and evacuation of refined products from local refineries
– Building, maintaining, leasing, and hiring infrastructure for storage and transportation of petroleum products, including:
– Pump stations
– Depots
– Pipelines
– Tanks
– Transporting petroleum products by pipeline and ship
– Collecting and evacuating crude oil, refined oil, LNG, LPG, and other products from oil fields, terminals, and refineries in Nigeria and worldwide.
